Cops Against Kids This opinion piece in the NY Times details several incidents of shocking mistreatment of school children by school safety officers in NYC. Zero tolerance seems just a buzz word for zero common sense authoritarianism gone amuck. I am so glad my kid doesn't have to deal with this, and horrified for the kids who do.
