We spent Mikro's birthday at the park. First we opened presents and had lunch.
You can tell we're homeschoolers by the ratio of books to other stuff, can't you? He's already read a couple of them!
After the frenetic shredding of paper, we headed to the playground. Mikro made a few new friends, enjoyed a popsicle, and conquered the round ladder, something he's avoided for years.
Then we went to the beach, watched the kite surfers, and Mikro and Kevin played with (foam) swords.
Then it was home for "cake", which was actually GFCF blueberry muffins.
Happy Birthday, Mikro! You are a wonderful kid, and I'm lucky you're mine.
