Fleet Week 2010

Fleet Week is a NYC Memorial Day tradition. Kevin and I have gone many times, but this was Mikro's first Fleet Week. He learned about what Memorial Day means, got a bit of World War II history, and had huge fun checking out the U.S.S. Iwo Jima and her equipment, and chatting with the Marines, from whom he also got a tutorial in gun safety. I asked him his favorite thing and he said: "I don't really have a favorite. I liked everything!"
