Brooklyn Bridge Tour
Mikro and I took a walking tour of the Brooklyn Bridge with the South Street Seaport Museum. We learned quite a bit about the bridge's design and construction, and enjoyed the beautiful views from the pedestrian walkway. Our guides, David and Paul, were terrific. We hiked to the halfway point, then turned around and walked back to Manhattan to catch the subway. Along the way, we spotted a pair of peregrine falcons nesting on the bridge. What a cool bonus! It pays to look up, says the Crazy Bird Lady...
