Mikro's Easter started off with an egg hunt in the back yard. His dad made him work hard for his prizes. But I think he will agree they were worth the effort. He got 7 fossil eggs, including a mosasaur tooth, spinosaurus tooth, shark tooth, megalodon tooth, enrolled trilobite, sand dollar, and a brachiopod. And a few more traditional basket fillers: some candy and fruit snacks, and little toys like star wars ships and putty that makes rude noises. I think I nailed it for 14 (almost 15!) year old paleontology/science fiction geek boy... For breakfast he had easter eggs that he dyed at his gramma and grampa's house on Good Friday (our family tradition. My mom loves it because the mikromonkey was born on Good Friday and came home on Easter Sunday, so she gets a kick out of seeing him then and doing the egg thing with him...)
