There are still traces of it hanging around. It has been a long, snowy winter here, at least by comparison to the recent past. My childhood memories are full of blizzards far worse than anything we got this year. But I am so ready for Spring!
Yesterday, we saw the return of a pair of white breasted nuthatches who seem to nest in the Silver Maple tree in front of our house. I am hoping they are a sign that there are warmer days in our immediate future.
