Project Feeder Watch
We have been having wonderful luck with our Project Feeder Watch count days. Here are some of our regulars. Ever since we put up the nyger thistle sock, we've been having a regular finch fiesta! We see lots of American Goldfinches, Pine Siskins, and the occassional House Finch. Of course, we still get plenty of Juncos, House Sparrows, European Starlings, and such. We have had several downy woodpeckers, and we now seem to have a red-bellied woodpecker regular. Nutty the Nuthatch nests in our tree, so we see him and Mrs. Nutty often. Last week, we had a Blue Jay and an American Robin at the birdbath. I guess it truly is spring!
