Illustration Friday -- Journey

This week's Illustration Friday theme is Journey. Mikro came up with the journey of the salmon. He chose to do one of the fish in green. (I am in pain and not in a head space for making art, so I didn't even make the attempt.) So, here are Mikro's fish:

Illustration Friday: Bottle

The theme for Illustration Friday this week is "Bottle." I had another spring-inspired idea: feeding baby lambs. Mikro did a water bottle.

Illustration Friday: Duet

The theme for Illustration Friday this week is "Duet." With the coming of spring, and some of the frisky behavior we've observed at the feeders, my brain went to bird song. Mikro came up with a couple dancing together.





I'm not too thrilled with my paint job on this. I did it in really poor light, and it shows...

Illustration Friday: Toy

Mikro really liked the Toy theme for this week's Illustration Friday. He went with a Transformer called Ravenge. (I think this may be hint dropping on his part...)



I got to thinking about how one's definition of toy changes as one gets older, and came up with Toy: the Evolution, which I sketched in about 2 minutes (all I had) and colored badly using a tissue dipped in watercolors (Mikro was hogging my brushes...)
