Trick or Treat

Mikro was a space chimp (space suit store bought, head constructed out of plaster wrap and faux fur). Kev was an astronaut. And I was an Old Hippie. (Oh, wait, that's how I normally look!) Actually, I told people that I was a rocket scientist from Berkeley, or that we were 2 spacemen and a spaced out woman... Anyway, Kevin built a rocket, and we put up an EZUp tent, since it was raining on and off, and had lots of fun trick or treating for UNICEF. (Since Mikro has food allergies and couldn't eat the candy anyway, this lets him participate and feel good about helping other kids. He was so excited to do it.)

Great Jack O'Lantern Blaze

We made our annual pilgrimage to the Halloween extravaganza that is The Great Jack O' Lantern Blaze at Van Cortlandt Manor. Lots and lots of photos here, and some of these look MUCH better full size, so please click to see them larger, if you are interested...

Fall Painting at Lower East Side Studio

Our homeschool group visited a local artist's studio for a day of painting fun.
