A New Mikro Story

Mikro is constantly inventing stories, and I have been less than stellar about writing them down, but the other day, while talking to his Gramma on the phone, he was asked for a story.

His response to this was that he needed to think of one, and "I gotta make the characters up first!" Interesting that he subscribes to the character driven rather than plot driven school of writing already...

What he came up with after a moment's thought was:

Once upon a time, there was this penguin that lost part of its flipper, which was torn off by a leopard seal. It encountered another one, and, *weirdly I might say*, it *flew* away from it. Funny, huh?

He's an odd little duck, but a creative one.

Oh, wow. I bet those are something to behold! I love how creative our kids are free to be. Mikro hasn't done anything musical yet, but we have lots of stick and rock and ripped up paper props utilized around here.
