Mikro has been wanting to go to the Mermaid Parade for years. It usually falls on the same weekend as the Clearwater Festival, though, and so we miss it.
Well, not this year! This year it happened the following weekend, and so we had to seize the opportunity!

Some of those costumes are amazing. Would love to see the parade, we have nothing like that here.
The one year we went to the mermaid parade it was two days before I would go into labor with my second. Not that I'm connecting the two events. :o)
Love the pictures! I would love to see more if you get them on flickr. We were trying to see if our old friend was still involved in the parade (she worked at Sideshows as a fire eater).
