Urban Park Rangers Rainy Bird Walk
Our May 4th class took place on a wet and chilly afternoon. My arthritis was evil. I was amazed at how many birds we saw, given the weather. We saw downy woodpeckers, catbirds, a kingbird, a red bellied woodpecker, cardinals, european starlings, grackles, a wood duck and white throated sparrows. Here are some scenes from our soggy adventure:
