On Sunday, we started our Maker Faire adventure in the kid's area. Mikro made a simple animation and built a stomp rocket, and looked at some cool creepy crawly inspired sculpture.
Then we headed off to the Young Makers Pavilion for a workshop on 3D Printing. Mikro got to use Tinkercad software to design and build a 3 dimensional object using a Makerbot Replicator 3D Printer.
Here is some of the other fun stuff we saw and did:
Seeing quadrotors zoom over his head was a highlight for Mikro!
Buying a Printrbot LC was a highlight for his daddy!
Watching my kid go from wannabe to Maker was without doubt *The Highlight* for me!
