Mikro once again participated in the Nanowrimo Young Writers Program and successfully completed a story which exceeded his word count goal. He is suddenly much more eager to practice his penmanship. His spelling is spot on for phonetically spelled words, and he has mastered many irregularly spelled words as well. He is enjoying playing Grammar Ninjas online, doing Mad Libs, and playing additional grammar and spelling related games on his laptop. He attended several children's programs at Poets House, designed his own version of the Odyssey involving dragons, demons, and a dragon riding hero. He also wrote an acrostic poem memorializing our Africa studies.
