Theater, Sun, River, Beach, etc.

Mikro really enjoyed the Theaterworks production of "We the People", a musical in which the Founding Fathers are a rock band, teaching a middle schooler running for school office about the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, the branches of government, and checks and balances, through song. Very fun! (He did not keep the shamrock antennae on during the show..) We also enjoyed the beautiful old theater. Tarrytown Music Hall has a decorative silhouette theme. Really lovely.

After the show, we headed to our local park and enjoyed the amazing weather. It was 60 degrees F today and sunny. We had lunch just inches from the river, then walked on the beach looking for sea glass.

It was a nice day. Wish Kev had been off to share it... But he's home now and we're going to order some yummy takeout for dinner, and I got us a ridiculously decadent cake for dessert... Should be a quiet but nice anniversary.
