Picky Eating Progress

Mikro has made huge improvements in the variety of foods he eats. New this spring/summer are:
  • veggie soups of all sorts, even including the formerly detested lentil and sometimes ok gazpacho
  • salad (with black olives as a bribe, those formerly *hated* black olives, that is...),
  • aloo palak (potato and spinach indian food),
  • spinach dal (spinach and lentil indian food),
  • faux cheese sandwiches with soy cheese, hummus and wheat-free bread,
  • artichoke hearts,
  • red peppers,
  • rice and beans (white, black, kidney, or roman) with zucchini, yellow squash, tomatoes and peppers,
  • spaghetti squash,
  • iced coffee (he steals mine),
  • Pure Fit protein bars,
  • dairy free fudge,
  • rice noodle soup bowls esp. spring onion flavor,
  • lima beans,
  • veggie pakora,
  • raspberries added into his yogurt,
  • mangos (again. He gave them up, but now tolerates them),
  • papaya,
  • pluots (again. He gave them up, but now tolerates them),
  • bananas (again. He gave them up, but now tolerates them),
  • fruit smoothies.
There are actually now thigs that he can order at a restaurant! (So long as we grill them about not cooking veggies with butter, no milk or flour in soup as thickener, no croutons, etc.) (Ignore the cheese in that last photo... I added it to mine before taking a picture...)
