Tuesday Science Times Two, and More

Scene from our colorful commute: After staring at Egyptian wall paintings so much, the grafiti was realy fun to look at. The human impulse to leave one's mark endures...

Science Class featured lasers, and playing a laser game in which you arrange the mirrors in order to light up the opposing team's pharoah. (Mikro enjoyed the Egypt reference.)

Afterwards, we read a bunch of fun books at the library.

The following week, science was about security systems. The kids worked in groups, tying fishing line to represent lasers, and attaching bells (representing motion detector alarms) to their "vault" to protect their "treasure". Then they tried to crack the other groups' security measures. Lots of fun!
